A progressive mechanical assembly where each segment recalculates its own radius. `qty=5` instantiates five tube segments; `newdef=true` forces the engine to re-evaluate local `params` on every instance instead of caching them once; `$index` drives the shrinking radius. Each cylinder is smaller than the one below it, stacked end-to-end.
